How Try Before You Buy Works - The Fundamentals:

  1. Select Your Trial: Choose the "Try Before You Buy" option when adding eligible VHues items to your cart. (Note: Not all items may be available for this Special Offer; eligibility will be clearly marked on the product page).
  2. Secure Authorization: When you check out, we will place a temporary authorization hold (this is not an immediate charge) on your selected payment method for the Full price of the Try Before You Buy item(s). This Secure step verifies your payment method and temporarily reserves the funds.
  3. Receive & Explore: We'll ship your selected item(s) right away! Your Exclusive trial period begins the moment your order is delivered.

Your Personalized Trial Window:

  • You have a Generous 14 calendar days starting from the confirmed delivery date to try your VHues product(s). Discover how they look, feel, and work for you!
  • The specific length of your trial period will be clearly stated on the product page and in your order confirmation email – consider this your Personal Invitation to explore.

Making Your Choice – Keep or Return:

  • Decision Time: Before your 14-day trial window expires, you decide: keep the Wonderful VHues item, or send it back.
  • Keeping Your Treasures: If you Love your VHues product(s) and decide to keep them, you don't need to do anything! Once the 14-day trial period ends, the initial authorization hold will convert into a final charge, capturing the Full Value-packed price on your payment method. Easy!
  • Returning Made Simple: If the product isn't the Perfect fit, no problem! You must initiate a return before the end of your 14 day trial period to avoid being charged.

      • Condition of Returned Items: To be eligible for a no-charge return under this Special Offer, items must be returned in their original packaging and be "Lightly Used." Think of this as trying the product enough to make your decision – similar to testing in-store. Examples include:
        • Swatching makeup shades a few times.
        • Dispensing 1-3 pumps of a liquid product (like serum or foundation) for testing texture and shade.
        • Testing a cream product a couple of times with clean fingers or a spatula.
      • The goal is a genuine trial, not extended personal use. Items returned with significant signs of usage (e.g., visibly depleted, heavily worn down), damaged, or missing original packaging may not qualify for the Try Before You Buy return and could result in the charge being processed. VHues reserves the right to make the final determination, Fairly and Consistently, on the condition of returned items.
      Important Note on Return Shipping: For items returned under the Try Before You Buy program, the cost of return shipping is currently covered by the customer. We keep our policies transparent – managing return shipping allows us to provide this Amazing trial service as we Grow the VHues brand.
    • Once we receive and inspect your Approved return, the authorization hold on your card will be released (this can take a few business days depending on your bank).

  • Authorization vs. Charge: Remember, the initial step is an authorization hold, which may temporarily reduce your available credit or bank balance but is not a completed charge. The final charge only occurs if you keep the item past the trial period.
  • Deadline Awareness & Helpful Reminders: While the Ultimate responsibility for tracking your 14-day trial period and initiating any returns before the deadline rests with you, we want to ensure a Seamless and Empowered experience! As a helpful courtesy, Watch Out for an email reminder from us landing in your inbox a few days before your trial window concludes.
